Pontem is focused on upstream and midstream oil and gas assets. We take principal ownership and operational management of energy assets through our comingled team of investment and operations professionals. Our team is unique in its deep and cross-disciplinary reservoir engineering, operations engineering and investment analysis skills. All but one of our investment professionals is a degreed engineer with practical industry experience.

Pontem’s team aggregates best practices from leading asset operators and investment organizations such as Apache, Apollo, Credit Suisse, Halliburton, HPS, RBC Capital Markets, Trinity Operating and UBS. We retain specialized and local geological, geophysical, geoscience and land experts for specific tasks at hand.

Our investment opportunities are sourced through an extensive network that is both international and hyper-local to ensure the proper relationship is brought to bear.
